Are You Ready to Heal What Holds You Back?

For many women, the mother wound is an invisible barrier that affects every part of life: your relationships, your self-worth, your career, and even your health.

  • Do you struggle with feeling enough, no matter how hard you try?

  • Is there a deep, lingering sense of emotional pain that you can’t seem to release?

  • Do you find it hard to trust, love, or nurture yourself the way you truly deserve?

  • Have you carried generational trauma, passed down from mother to daughter, that’s never been fully healed?

You’re not alone. These are the hidden marks of the mother wound. They are not your fault, but they are yours to heal.

My Motherwound Story

As a mother of five and a woman deeply committed to healing, my journey has been shaped by both personal and ancestral pain. I grew up in a dysfunctional relationship with my mother, carrying the weight of unresolved emotional pain and beliefs of not being enough, which were passed down through generations. In addition to this, I endured the scars of past abuse and the emotional toll of leaving a long-term toxic relationship, which compounded the struggle for self-worth and authenticity.

An integral part of my journey was confronting the ancestral legacy of chronic dis-ease and premature death in my motherline. This pattern was deeply ingrained in my family, and I carried its heavy weight for much of my life. Through years of somatic healing, trauma-informed care, and a profound commitment to decolonising my body and spirit, I began to heal not only my own wounds but also the ancestral trauma that had been passed down for generations. I was able to transform my relationship with my mother and, in doing so, heal the chronic pain and dis-ease that had long plagued my family line.

Healing the mother wound is not just personalβ€”it is collective. In a world scarred by genocide, ecocide, systemic oppression & violence, I realised that the journey to healing is about re-centering humanity, the earth, and our children. As I healed, I built a community where I felt held, supported, and belonged, and this is the energy I now bring to my work with The SomaTherapy Collective.

My mission is to guide other women in reclaiming their emotional power, rediscovering their truth, and healing through embodied practices that promote lasting transformation. Together, we rise, heal, and step into our fullest powerβ€”not only for ourselves but for the collective liberation of all women, children & the earth.

In a world where genocide, ecocide, and the poly-crisis continue to disrupt our humanity, we must reclaim and decolonise our hearts, minds, and bodies. The healing of the mother wound is not just personalβ€”it's collective. It’s time to recenter humanity, reconnect with the mother, and heal our relationship with the earth and our children.

This journey is about shedding the weight of old stories, limiting beliefs, and unresolved pain passed down through the culture & generations. The pain of centuries has been carried by women, but we no longer need to hold onto it. Motherway invites you to rediscover your truth, heal the past, and step into the life you’ve always known you were meant to liveβ€”one that is aligned with your soul’s deepest calling and the collective healing of all beings.
